Police in kano laden some explosive bomb and mechanized weapons in a golf car
The police in Kano averted a planned bomb attack as the command intercepted a bomb-laden Golf car and other dangerous weapons.other dangerous weapons.
Other items recovered from the car include an AK 47 Rifle, Assault Rifle, 238 live ammunition of different caliber, Rocket Launcher, AK 47 Magazines, seven Turkey oil—stuffed with remote-control bombs, two cylinder remote-control devices, 14 hand grenades, four rolls ofwire connector and 12 power source.
Commissioner of Police, Musa Daura, told reporters on Wednesday that the command, acting on intelligence, engaged a group of terrorists in a gun battle on the outskirts of the city, injuring some of them and recovering abomb-laden Golf 3 vehicle, as well as arms and ammunition.
Daura said the occupants of the vehicle instantly opened fire upon sighting a police patrol van and a gun battle ensued,with the militants retreating after receiving bullet wounds.
The CP claimed that no policeman was hurt during the attack.

The policeman, Abbas Haladu was said to have met the soldiers who barricaded the entrance leading to the Emir's palace near the Roundabout at about 7am when they descended on him, beating him mercilessly.
Vanguard gathered that Haladu's left hand wasreportedly broken by the soldiers allegedly led by a Sergeant.
According to sources,the soldiers had barricaded the road at about 8pm on Tuesday as a security measure to forestall any breakdown of law and order. It was learnt thatCpl Haladu who was in mufti was stopped from going to the Emir's palace where he was posted to commence duty for the day.
Trouble started for the corporal when he was asked by the soldiers to identify himself which he did, but the soldiers on duty who were already reportedly angry insisted that he would not pass through the barricade to the Emir's palace.

B-red dumps HKN gang and signs a new deal with Dark records
A source confirmed that B-Red has signed a deal with a new management Called: D'Ark Entertainment.

But now it seems people wants to make money than expressing themselves, everybody sings about the fast lane but hardly about the hustle that got them to the fast lane,that could motivate people. Osun state seniour secoundary student get computer tablets
The distribution of the tablets started at the Ataoja School of Science, Osogbo on Monday with 385 students in the Senior Secondary School 2 (SSS2), each receiving the technological device.The project, an initiative of Governor Rauf Aregbesola, specially designed for the students of public secondary schools in the state to improve their performance in internal and external examinations.

Five suspect in jail for possesion of human skull in abeokta
The accused, Oluwaseyi Salako, 30; Akeem Shotayo, 32; Akeem Akinbowale, 33yrs; Segun Olabode, 46 and Ifarotimi Balogun, 47, were arraigned on a three-count charge of conspiracy, unlawful possession of fresh human skull and murder.
The prosecutor, Insp. Sunday Eigbejiale, told the court that the offence was committed on March 9 at about 7 a.m. in Abeokuta.
He told the court that the accused whose plea was not taken were said to have unlawfully killed 7-year old Ope Ogunseye by machete.
He also alleged that the defendants, between March 9 and 14, in Abeokuta, were caught with human parts.
"The defendants on March 9, at about 11 a.m. in Mokonolu compound, Isale Ijeun, were found in possession of a fresh human head," Eigbejiale said.
