“I Am No More Sexually Active” Femi Kuti Reveals

Afro-beat legend and legacy, Femi Kuti hasn't been as
controversial as his father, nor promiscuous, but he still
has his issues.
In a recent interview with a National Newspaper, the
51 year old Femi Kuti revealed that he's no more
sexually active because he now has so many
responsibilities to attend to.
"That is not true, I am no more sexually active. When
you see a beautiful woman, when you reach my age
and you have responsibility like myself, you will know
what I am talking about. Before now, as a young man,
you would want to go after her. There are many nights
I go and sleep alone not because I don't have
girlfriends or want a girlfriend, when I think of the
responsibility I have in my life, I will immediately have
a rethink. The women in my life also have
responsibilities. I can tell you that the mothers of my
children, we stay together, we are very serious. You
could say we are husband and wife but I don't believe
in marriage. I just don't understand why one man will
say I pronounce you man and wife, in that case. I
pronounce myself man and wife. I am very different
from my father but in a lot of ways like him.
Like I couldn't understand why he married 27 wives.
When he married them, he divorced them. I didn't have
a problem with my father's wives but my mother did.
When the problem started in Kalakuta, for us it was
fun. Many things have changed. Of course I am very
much sexually active but when I consider the problems
my shoki has given me, it dies quickly." he said.

Health Tip :Eight (8) Health Benefits Of Red Wine

known to reverse the effect of dying ear hair cells which marks the onset of losing hearing abilities. Raise your glasses and hear them clink, more clearly each time. On a side note, the article does not encourage you to get a bottle of red wine and binge on it.
1. Stay young forever
Red wine contains a LOT of anti-oxidants$. Lots mean LOTS and LOTS of them. These are the primary compounds that have anti-ageing properties and even help with diabetes. It might not be the ever illusive "Fountain of youth" but it can be safely said that the Spanish were better off sipping the drink of the gods.
2. Let it beat
Just fell in love and gave your heart to someone? Well, at least make it last a bit. Red wine contains a powerful anti-oxidant known as "Resveratrol". Consuming red wine cuts the harmful effects of the "bad" LDL cholesterol and prevents the formation of blood clots while increasing the level of "good" LDL cholesterol.
3. More brainy
A recent study shows a boost in brain power for women who enjoy a little alcohol. The study, published in the Jan. 20 issue of The New England Journal of Medicine, evaluated more than 12,000 women aged 70-81. Moderate drinkers had a 23% reduced risk of mental decline compared with non-drinkers. No reason not to have a glass before that big exam the next day.
4. Control the dreaded cancer
Yes, that's right. Red wine can prevent and even cure cancer. The oxidative damage to body functions, the primary cause of Alzheimer's, type – 2 diabetes and cardiovascular diseases can be readily prevented by the consumption of anti-oxidants found in red wine. These in conjunction with chemo therapy can enhance its success rate greatly.
5. Stay slim the French way
The French have a peculiar habit of having wine with their meals. Apparently, alcohol stimulates the appetite so it is better to drink it with food. When alcohol is mixed with food, it slows the stomach's emptying time and decreases the amount of food consumed at the meal.
6. Healthy white shining teeth
Red wine hardens the enamel of the tooth to prevent tooth decay. Hardened enamel is much more resistant to micro-organisms causing dental problems. Even though red wine cannot replace your regular dentist but it certainly contributes to dental well-being.
7. Keeping the digestive system clean
Studies have found that red wine has anti-bacterial properties too. In the past it was used as a full-fledged antiseptic, but that is not what doctors recommend today. Scientists show that red wine can kill bacteria related to gastritis and peptic ulcers as well as being closely linked to stomach cancer.
8. Hear well
Red wine is known to reverse the effect of dying ear hair cells which marks the onset of losing hearing abilities. Raise your glasses and hear them clink, more clearly each time. On a side note, the article does not encourage you to get a bottle of red wine and binge on it. Always remember, the term to abide by is "MODERATION". The positive health effects are only experienced when an optimum limit of 1-3 glasses a day is followed. Have more and there's no guarantee you will not become yet another alcoholic.

Air disaster averted today as IRS aircraft makes emergency landing

Another air disaster was averted this afternoon when an IRS Aircraft made an emergency landing in Kaduna. A Fokker 28 plane, carrying 89 passengers from Lagos to Kaduna, developed hydraulic problems few minutes before landing at the Kaduna airport.
The aircraft's front tyres refused to come out during landing, forcing the pilot to land without them. Fortunately no one was injured.
The Managing Director of IRS, Yemi Dada, later explained what happened to reporters. He said:
"The pilots received a low hydraulic warning minutes before landing, and this affected the landing gear, nose wheel steering, brakes, cargo doors, thrust reverser and the flight controls."
"On final approach to Kaduna today on our flight 3390 with 89 passengers, our cockpit crew got a low hydraulic in system 1 warning and decided to take precautionary measures to ask for ground confirmation that all gears were down and locked."
"The crew proceeded to land but followed procedure to disembark on the runway and not taxi in accordance with the procedure."He said all passengers disembarked with the assistance of a crane before the aircraft was towed to ramp. He also said the airline's maintenance crew is checking the aircraft to see what happened.

Mark Zuckerberg Buys 4 Neighboring Homes, Over $30M For Privacy

Mark Zuckerberg just made an unusual purchase. Well, four purchases. Facebook's billionaire founder bought four homes surrounding his current home near Palo Alto, Mercury News reports.
The houses cost him more than $30 million, including one 2,600 square-foot home that cost $14 million. (His own home is twice as large at 5,000 square-feet and cost half as much.)
Larry Page made a similar move a few years ago so he could build a massive, 6,000-square-foot mansion. But Zuckerberg's reason is different. He doesn't want to live in excess, he just wants a little privacy. Zuckerberg reportedly took action after he learned that a developer wanted to purchase one of his neighbor's homes and use the fact that Zuckerberg lived close by as a marketing tactic. He started purchasing the homes last December.
Zuckerberg will lease the four homes he just bought back to its current residents. It's sad yet ironic that Zuckerberg has to go through great lengths to protect his privacy. Yesterday news broke that Facebook was removing yet another privacy feature. Soon, even people who wish to remain hidden from Facebook searches will have no choice but to be searchable on the social network.

ASUU STRIKE Is A Blessing To Me, Pushed Me To Project Fame Victory – Olawale Ojo

This is so interesting; Winner of MTN Project Fame season 6, Olawale Ojo in an interview with Bayo Adetu of PM News, tells it all on how he emerged winner against all odds during the stiff competition which had 16 other contestants battling for the top spot.
Read excerpts from his interview:
If you didn't envisage winning the competition, what was your plan when you registered to participate at the auditions?
I came up to register when ASUU was on strike, and this was my first time to participate in a music competition. I didn't really come with too much determination, but anywhere I find myself, I always try to give my best in all I do. So, when I got into the academy, I didn't have a choice than to give my best for everything.
So ASUU strike actually pushed you to Project Fame?
Yes, but I believe that is how God wants it to be. The strike is a blessing in disguise for me. As a millionaire now, how do you intend to cope with your colleagues in school when the ASUU strike is over? Will there be any pressure on you?
I think the only change is that I meet a lot of people and people know me now. I wasn't this popular, but now I am popular. I think that is just the difference. I am still Olawale. The only thing different is just that I am now popular and I have to be more conscious of my career now because I have to work more on my songs. I have to make sure I don't disappoint my fans out there.
The work has changed.

9-Year-Old Boy Becomes Nigeria’s Youngest Microsoft Certified Professiona

A nine-year-old pupil of Role Model School, Oregun, Ikeja, Lagos, Jomiloju Tunde-Oladipo, has emerged the youngest Nigerian Microsoft certified professional. He came tops among 21 pupils who sat for the professional examination in Lagos.
He is now a Microsoft office specialist in office word 2010. Jomiloju scored 769 out of 1,000 in the examination held in August. In his examination score report, the slim-built boy performed well in Sharing and Maintaining Documents, Formatting Content, Applying Page Layout, and Reusable Content, among other subjects.
By the feat, Jomiloju has joined the league of young Microsoft certified professionals, including Nigeria's 10-year-old Anjolaoluwa Seyi-Ojo; an eight-year-old Indian, Lavishnashree, and two Pakistanis, named Arfa and Thobani.
Microsoft Certified Professional is a certification programme provided by Microsoft Corporation. The certification is tailored towards building skills on Microsoft business solutions, focusing on client-end operating systems such as windows XP, Vista, Windows7 among others.
Jomiloju, whose certificate was signed by the Chief Executive Officer, Microsoft Corporation, Steven Ballmer, says he did not achieve this feat easily, but through persistence and hard work. He says, "It was not all that easy, because I had attempted the examination last year, I did not make it then. But I remained focused and I put in a lot of hard work.
"At home and in the school, I am always on the computer. After school hours, if am not doing anything, I will go to my Information Communication Technology teacher, to learn more." Jomiloju sat for the examination when he was in primary Five. Relating his experience, Jomiloju says, "In all, I answered 20 questions, after answering a question, the computer takes you to another one. And at times, there will be an instruction to skip the next question. But the programme still directs one to come back to those questions one had earlier skipped."

“I’d Love To Have Genevieve As My Wife” – D’banj#interview

In a recent interview, D'banj talked about his career, Genevieve Nnaji & Don Jazzy.
The 'Tongolo' singer talked about Genevieve in great length, suggesting that he still had a thing for her, and even confirmed it later.
"Apart from the fact that she is my friend, she has been a part of my success. There is no way you are going to tell my story that Genevieve's name will not come up because she featured in my biggest song of all time, Fall in Love. So if E True Story comes to Nigeria to interview me, she will definitely be called upon to tell my story."
"I would love to have Genevieve as my wife. We never can tell what God plans for us in the future. I have studied her and I realised that anyone that has her as his woman has found himself a treasure. Just like the Bible says, any man who finds a wife, finds a good thing."
The G.O.O.D music signee has plans to celebrate 10 years in the industry next year and is thankful for a successful career.
"My career is barely 10 years old. But with the success I have achieved so far, it feels like three decades already. Within my first 10 years as a musician, I have recorded the biggest song and shot the most viewed music video of all time, 'Oliver Twist'. I must say I am humbled and getting ready to take over."
He however didn't forget to mention old friend Don Jazzy, who he says is a key part of his success.
If I say I don't miss Don Jazzy, I am lying. I have spent the better part of my career with him. I was married to him in a way (laughs). So I miss everything about Mo'Hits: the family, the movement, and the vibe of being in the studio with him. I miss the jokes and the arguments, but I have since keyed into the notion that nothing can stop a moving train.
"Nevertheless we can always do music together. The track, 'Top of the World' was produced by a Grammy Award Winner. The songs 'Finally' and 'Don't Tell Me Nonsense' was produced by my producer while 'Oliver Twist' was produced by Don Jazzy. So, why won't I have him on my 10 years anniversary album?

Skelewuu Dance Winner Bello Moshood Abiola Says ''thank You'' To You AL

Thank you dammygist
I promise to make this short, please read;
"Do Not Judge A Book By Its Cover"
Please read this with an open mind and let's be honest with our
comments (Banters are always welcome tho)
I know you wonder why I said; "Do Not Judge A Book By Its Cover"?
Does it have any meaning? Yes it does if we look at how most people
think of Nigerian celebrities.
We need to start changing our views and stop believing everything
you've heard or read about them.
He gave me $3000 not because I won but to enable me build a career for
myself. I've planned to record more videos from other artistes as
he(Davido) advised.
I still can't believe Davido called me and spoke with me like a
brother/friend (Is he not that Rude boy people talk about?).
He sent series of Texts but I still didn't believe him until he
forwarded his House address to my phone. Wowww!! (No, I still didn't
wanna go because it could still be a scam, it could never be that Rude
Davido).
So, i requested for a confirmation from one of his social handles. Lo
and behold, Davido gave me a "shout out" on twitter and also sent me a
Direct Message.
On getting to his house, he congratulated me and asked;
"Kiddy, what else can you do? what are your dreams?"
I was only expecting the normal way but he was just himself and I was
so free that we danced together to some other tracks.
By the way, he didn't pay me to compose all this; I just had to clear
my conscience and let the world know that these celebrities are
sometimes not what people think!
Thank You dammy gist, Thank You Davido!
More videos coming up from me soon!!!

Cable Car To Be Available In Lagos By 2014

The long awaited cable car project is on the verge of
completion, says Governor Babatunde Fashola, but he
did not give a date for the completion of the project.
Fashola, who spoke at the World Habitat Day held at
the Adeyemi Bero Audirorium, Alausa in Ikeja, Lagos,
southwest Nigeria on Monday, said residents of the
state would begin to enjoy cable car and light rail
transportation within the metropolis as the projects
would be completed soon.
The governor stated that cable car, which is part of
the Apapa model city plan, would transit between
Apapa and Falomo, via Lagos Island, while describing the
innovation as vital to achieving the mega city status.
He said his administration was committed to activating
every means of transportation in the state in order to
reduce the number of vehicles on the road, which
cause unheal thy carbon emissions.
Fashola, who was represented by the Commissioner
for Transportation, Kayode Opeifa, pledged that his
administration would continue to formulate policies to
improve transportation and mass movement of
people, stressing that the theme of the celebration,
which is Urban Mobility, was a key factor in the
development of the state to a model mega city.
The governor stated that the light rail project would
be commissioned before the end of next year as it
was estimated that 1.6 million Lagosians would be
transported daily, which translates to 19.2 million
passengers annually.
"By the end of 2014, The Blue Line should transport
Lagosians from Mile 2 to Marina, a journey of about
13.5 kilometres, in the shortest possible time. We are
also proud to say that the cable car; a veritable means
of fast and unhindered transportation, is on the verge
of completion.
"To grow the economy of our dear city of Lagos into
one of the model Mega Cities in Africa, embracing the
best practices in the transportation/urban mobility
cannot be overlooked. Lagosians must accept this
concept of transportation as safer and more
economical. We must recognise that individual
transportation translates to more vehicles on the
roads, which translate to an unhealthy volume of
carbon emissions.
"Hence, our drive to provide a combination of
transportation that would include road, rail and water
ways. The challenges, however, are formulating more
innovative changes aimed at ensuring the sustainability
of these policies."
The governor pointed out that in the last 14 years,
priority attention had been paid to the improvement
of urban mobility through the development of roads,
water ways and rail lines, while identifying inadequate
public transportation and parking spaces, as well as
congestion as contemporary challenges.
According to him, "our water transportation now
moves about two million people daily. The cable car will
take off from Apapa and link to Falomo via Lagos
Island. The feasibility study is on and tests are being
conducted. Soon, Lagosians would experience another
transportation experience.
"The Blue line and the Red line rail projects are ongoing
and will soon be completed. Lagos State is the third in
the African continent to achieve urban mobility. It is
gratifying to note that the state has dedicated 50
percent of the state budget to capital expenditure
only, thus allowing for the provision of transport
infrastructure in the state as well upgrading and
expansion of the existing roads."

Daddy today you were taken away from us, but to a much better place. Only a few people knew how tough these three months of illness were for us all, but throughout it you comforted us & reassured us all that you will forever be with us. Finally the pain has left you and for that I remain grateful. You're now with your 'Don Dada upstairs' as you use to say. Ventures africa magazine has released their list of the top 10 Richest......................
People in Africa 2013.
The combined fortune of Africa's 55 billionaires is $143.88 billion.
The average net worth of the members of this exclusive club is
$2.6 billion, while the median age of the richest people in Africa is
65 years. The oldest billionaires are Kenyan industrialist, Manu
Chandaria, and Egyptian property tycoon, Mohammed Al-Fayed,
both aged 84. The youngest billionaires are Mohammed Dewji of
Tanzania and Igho Sanomi, a Nigerian oil trader. They are both 38
years old.
Nigeria, South Africa and Egypt lead the pack with the highest
number of billionaires at 20, nine and eight respectively. Algeria,
Angola, Zimbabwe and Swaziland only have one billionaire each. In
all, there are 10 African countries represented on the list.
Three women made it into the rankings. The richest of them is
Folorunsho Alakija, a Nigerian fashion designer and oil tycoon worth
some $7.3 billion by our estimates.
See the full list after the cut...

1. Aliko Dangote
$20.2 billion
Industry: Manufacturing
Country Of Citizenship: Nigeria
Age: 56
Marital Status: Married
Africa's richest man started building his fortune three decades ago
after taking a business loan from his maternal uncle to begin trading in
commodities such as flour, sugar, rice and cement. In the early 2000s,
he started producing these items himself. His Dangote Group is now
the largest manufacturing conglomerate in West Africa and owns
sugar refineries, salt processing facilities, a beverage manufacturer
and a string of cement plants across Africa. In October 2012,
Dangote sold a controlling stake in his flour milling company to Tiger
Brands, a South African manufacturer of consumer goods. He
pocketed $190 million from the sale. Dangote's biggest asset is
Dangote Cement, a $20-billion (market cap) cement manufacturer
with operations in 14 countries and an annual production capacity of
30 million metric tonnes. In June this year, South Africa's Public
Investment Corporation acquired a 1.5-percent stake in the company
for $290 million. Dangote is also Africa's most generous philanthropist.
Within the last 12 months, he has given away over $100 million to
causes ranging from youth empowerment to flood relief, religious
causes and education. His younger brother, Sani Dangote, is Vice
Chairman of Dangote Group.

2. Allan Gray
$8.5 billion
Industry: Financial services
Country Of Citizenship: South Africa
Age: 75
Marital Status: Married
This media-shy South African moneyman controls two investment
companies that collectively manage over $50 billion in assets. After
Gray received an MBA from Harvard, he worked for eight years at
Fidelity Management and Research in Boston before returning to Cape
Town in 1973, when he founded Allan Gray Limited, now the largest
privately owned asset manager in South Africa. It is also the most
successful with assets under management at approximately $30
billion. According to inside sources at the company, Allan Gray's global
mandate share portfolio has achieved an average annual return of 28
percent since 1974. Keys to success include rigorous research and the
consistent application of Allan Gray's ages-old and time-tested
investment approach of buying heavily into companies whose share
price is less than their intrinsic value. Gray is also the founder of Orbis,
an asset manager in Bermuda, which he founded in 1989. Orbis has
over $21 billion under management. Gray's son, William, is President of
Orbis and equally serves as portfolio manager of the Orbis Funds. Gray
and his family are the controlling shareholders of Allan Gray Limited and
Orbis. In 2007, Gray endowed his Allan Gray Orbis Foundation with
$130 million, the single largest charity gift in Southern Africa at the
time. The foundation funds scholarships for poor but promising South
African high school students
.
3. Mike Adenuga
$8 billion
Industry: Oil, telecoms
Country Of Citizenship: Nigeria
Age: 60
Marital Status: Married
Nigeria's second richest man made his first fortune in his mid-twenties
by distributing lace fabrics and Coca- Cola, and by handling lucrative
government contracts during the regime of former Nigerian military
President, Ibrahim Babangida. In the early nineties he founded Conoil
Producing, an indigenous oil exploration and production outfit that was
the first Nigerian company to strike oil in commercial quantities. Today,
Conoil Producing's assets produce more than 100,000 barrels of
crude a day. Adenuga's other holdings include Globacom, a Nigerian mobile
telecommunications network that boasts more than 25 million
customers in Nigeria and Republic of Benin. He also owns a 74-
percent stake in Conoil PLC, a petroleum marketing outfit listed on the
Nigerian Stock Exchange.

4. Folorunsho Alakija
$7.3 billion
Industry: Oil
Country Of Citizenship: Nigeria
Age: 62
Marital Status: Married
Africa's richest woman sits atop Famfa Oil, a Nigerian oil company that
owns a 60-percent stake in OML 127, one of Nigeria's most prolific
oil blocks located at Nigerian offshore Agbami deepwater field. Daily
production at OML 127 stands at over 200,000 barrels per day.
Alakija studied fashion design in England in the eighties, returning to
Nigeria to found Supreme Stitches, a Nigerian fashion label which
enjoyed patronage from the more successful women in Nigerian high
society. One of her clients was Maryam Babangida, the wife to
former Nigerian military President, Ibrahim Babangida. Alakija is believed
to have ridden on the crest of this relationship to acquire an oil block in
1993 at a relatively inexpensive price. Famfa immediately entered into
a joint venture agreement with Star Deep Water Petroleum (a
subsidiary of Chevron and Brazil's Petrobas), ceding a 40-percent
stake to the two companies. Famfa owned a 60-percent interest in
the block until 2000, when the incumbent Nigerian president,
Olusegun Obasanjo, forcefully acquired a 50-percent stake in the
block, transferring it to the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation –
a government-owned oil company. Famfa Oil immediately went to
court to challenge the acquisition in a case that dragged on for 12
years. In May 2013, the Nigerian Supreme court reinstated the 50-
percent stake to Famfa Oil. Alakija also owns $200-million of real
estate in the United Kingdom
.
5. Nicky Oppenheimer
$6.5 billion
Industry: Mining, investments
Country Of Citizenship: South Africa
Age: 68
Marital Status: Married
Diamonds are not forever. In November 2011, Nicky Oppenheimer
made the momentous decision to sell off his family's stake in De Beers,
the world's largest diamond producer, to mining behemoth Anglo
American. The landmark $5.1-billion deal ended the Oppenheimer
family's eight-decade control of De Beers, which began when Nicky's
grandfather, Sir Ernest Oppenheimer, took over the firm in 1927 and
consolidated the company's global monopoly over the world's diamond
industry. In 2011, E Oppenheimer & Sons, the family-owned
investment firm which Nicky controls, partnered with Temasek, the
investment firm of the Government of Singapore, to form Tana
Africa Capital, a $300-million private equity fund that invests in the
fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) and agriculture sectors.

6. Johann Rupert
$6.1 billion
Industry: Luxury goods and retail
Country Of Citizenship: South Africa
Age: 63
Marital Status: Married
Johann Rupert is the chairman of Swiss-based luxury goods company,
Compagnie Financière Richemont SA, which owns premium brands
such as Cartier, Dunhill, IWC Schaffhausen, Piaget and Vacheron
Constantin, among many others. It is the sixth largest company on the
Swiss stock exchange and the third largest luxury goods company in
the world. Johann's father, Anton Rupert, founded a small cigarette
manufacturing operation, Rembrandt, in his garage in 1941 with a £10-
investment. Rembrandt became incredibly popular among young South
African smokers and by the 1950s, was already one of the leading
tobacco firms in the continent. Anton, ever the visionary, diversified
from tobacco into the industrial and luxury branded goods sectors,
splitting Rembrandt into two divisions: Remgro (an investment
company with financial, mining and industrial interests) and Richemont
(the Swiss-based luxury goods group). Johann is chairman and the
largest individual shareholder in both companies. He also owns two of
South Africa's best-known vineyards, Rupert & Rothschild and
L'Ormarins, and founded the Franschhoek Motor Museum, which
houses his personal collection of over 200 antique motor vehicles.

7. Nassef Sawiris
$5.2 billion
Industry: Construction
Country Of Citizenship: Egypt
Age: 53
Marital Status: Married
Nassef Sawiris is the youngest of the three sons of Egyptian billionaire
and founder of the Orascom conglomerate, Onsi Sawiris. He heads
Orascom Construction Industries (OCI), one of the largest companies in
the North Africa region. In January this year, Nassef announced that
OCI was exchanging all global depositary receipts of the company for
newly issued shares of OCI NV on the NYSE Euronext in Amsterdam
or in exchange for cash. A consortium of investors, including Microsoft
founder Bill Gates, provided the $1 billion in fresh capital required to
pay off investors. The overwhelming majority of the shareholders
accepted the buyout offer, which subsequently led to the company's
delisting on the EGX. Nassef also serves as a director at Lafarge, the
French cement giant, and the Dubai international Financial Exchange.

8. Gilbert Chagoury & Family
$4.2 billion
Industry: Construction
Country Of Citizenship: Nigeria
Age: 67
Marital Status: Married
The Nigerian-Lebanese industrialist and diplomat is a co-founder of the
Chagoury Group, a large, multi-faceted Nigerian conglomerate with
interests in manufacturing, construction, real estate, hospitality and
healthcare. Gilbert was born in 1946 in Lagos by Lebanese immigrant
parents. After studying at the College des Freres Chretiens in Lebanon,
he returned to Nigeria where he kick-started his business career. In
1971 he started GrandsMoulins du Bénin Flour Mills, a milling company in
Cottonou, Republic of Benin, which formed the foundation of the
Chagoury Group. Today, the Chagoury Group owns five flour-milling
companies in Nigeria and Republic of Benin. Chagoury's milling operations
collectively produce over 3,700 metric tonnes of wheat flour every
day. The Chagoury Group also owns a glass bottle manufacturing plant
and a plastic bottle manufacturing operation. Other assets include Eko
Hotel, a five-star Hotel in Lagos, and Hotel Presidential, a five-star
hotel in Port Harcourt. One of the newer companies within the group
is South EnergyX, a real estate development company that is
developing Eko Atlantic, a new $6-billion metropolis on land reclaimed
from the Atlantic Ocean. When completed, Eko Atlantic is expected
to provide residential accommodation for up to 250,000 people.
Chagoury's property portfolio also includes Ocean Parade, a series of
14 tower blocks overlooking a lagoon in Banana Island, Nigeria's priciest
residential community. Gilbert Chagoury's career has not been without
controversy. In 2001, in a British court, he admitted to helping the
family of deceased Nigerian dictator, Sani Abacha, transfer $300
million into foreign accounts. He returned the money and was
indemnified of charges.

9. Nathan Kirsh
$3.6 billion
Industry: Real Estate, Distribution
Country Of Citizenship: Swaziland
Age: 82
Marital Status: Married
Nathan Kirsh made his first fortune after he founded a successful
corn milling business in Swaziland. He deftly reinvested his profits in
food distribution and real estate. The bulk of his fortune is held in
various property and distribution companies. His investment company,
Kirsh Holding Group, owns a 50-percent stake in Swazi Plaza
Properties – the company that owns the largest shopping mall in
Swaziland. He also owns a 29-percent stake in Minerva, a London-
based property developer, and a 63-percent stake in Jetro Holdings,
which operates Jetro Cash and Carry stores and Restaurant Depots in
the New York City area. Jetro enjoys a near monopoly in supplying
wholesale goods to small stores and restaurants in the New York City
area and had revenues of over $6 billion in 2013. Kirsh is also the
largest individual shareholder in Magal Security Systems, a developer
and supplier of control systems and intruder detection systems
.
10. Christoffel Wiese
$3.4 billion
Industry: Retail
Country Of Citizenship: South Africa
Age: 72
Marital Status: Married
The South African businessman is the chairman and greatest individual
shareholder of Shoprite, Africa's largest discount retailer. After
studying Law at the University of Stellenbosch, Wiese took up a job as
an executive director at Pep Stores, a discount clothing chain his
parents co-founded. In 1979, Pep Stores diversified into groceries
through its acquisition of Shoprite, a small South African retail chain.
When Wiese became chairman of the company in 1981, he changed the
company's name to Pepkor and made a series of acquisitions including
Ackermans, a prominent clothing chain. He went on to list Shoprite on
the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. He owns a 15-percent stake in the
$7-billion (market cap) company. While his Shoprite stake remains his
biggest asset, he also owns significant stakes in other Johannesburg
Stock Exchange-listed companies, including Invicta Holdings, PSG
Holdings, Tradehold, and private equity firm, Brait. Other assets include
a private game reserve in the Kalahari and Lourensford Wine Estate.

READ Teju Babyface’s Tribute To Late ChiefTunji Okusanya, MIC Boss

I walked into his office to invite him 2 Season2 of our
show in 2010. We had never met but he hugged me.
He told me how he loved our show and how I would go
far up the ladder of Success. I discovered that he liked
to laugh a lot.
On the day of recording, he came to time and when
we were done, he shared money around like a politician
going to the polls. And so we would become 'friends'.
More like Egbon (elder sibling) and aburo (younger
sibling).
When my father died 2years later and we reeled in
pain and confusion, his boys were there in 30mins
with MIC's best hearse. Without a mention of money,
they took my dad to the best morgue around and
immediately started making plans for the burial.
In his office, he gave me my pick of the best coffins
and asked me to bring any amount of money I wished. 'I
could do it for free', he said, 'but I don't want you to
bury your father in a coffin that costs you nothing'.
On burial day, he personally carried my father's body all
the way to our village, Ajaawa, in Oyo State. He spent
the night. Next morning, he danced in front of the
coffin to and from the church and personally laid my
dad to rest. He also stayed for the party after,
'spraying' money on us all as we all danced to Shina
Peters, trying to bury our sorrow.
When I returned to thank him in his Lagos office, he
was wearing a beautiful pair of slippers. Black and
obviously costly. 'I like your slippers Uncle', I said. He
immediately removed them and insisted I must take
them there and then!
I protested long but he wouldn't budge. If you see me
wearing a pair of Italian leather slippers, they are the
ones.
He explained to me how life was just fleeting and how
we should try our best to avoid unhealthy attachment
(s) to anything. You see, having buried so many, rich
and poor alike, he had a view to life dat was
uncommon & probably wholesome in health.
He also agreed to come on our show for the 2nd time
setting a record as the only Special Guest to have had
that honor.
When it was time to get married, he danced behind me
on the engagement day, wearing my colors and yes,
sharing money again.
Not minding age, he threw himself prostrate beside
me and my friends as we 'begged' for my wife in the
tradition of the land.
He would call me up every now and again, always
chuckling. 'Iyawo mi nko', he would ask? (how is my
wife?) He was in the habit of saying to my family, 'I
love you guys'. I am not sure I ever said d same to him
even though I felt it.
And so I woke this rainy day as even the skies mourned
and shed tears thinking 'surely if good deeds meant
anything…surely if good deeds mean anything, this was
a man who did not deserve to go thus. Surely not in
this manner!'
But what do I know? I am just another traveller on
this parched tract. Your work and Legacy live after
you Uncle Tunji.
I love and will miss you.
In the words of the yoruba people, 'O ye Olorun bi ko
ye Eniyan'. (God understands all mystery)

9 Year Old Boy Sneaks On Plane, Flies To LasVegas!!!

US authorities are still trying to figure out how a nine-
year-old boy from Minneapolis travelling alone, boarded
a plane without a ticket and flew to Las Vegas.
This happened Thursday morning at St. Paul
International Airport, Minneapolis.
Police said the boy was somehow able to get through
three levels of security.
The flight crew reportedly became suspicious of the
boy during the flight, and contacted police, who met
them in Las Vegas when the plane landed.
Airport officials reviewed security footage and found
out that the boy spent a good amount of time at the
airport before boarding the plane.
CNN reports that the boy was at the airport the day
before.
He passed his time by taking luggage from a carousel,
bringing it to an airport eatery and then ditching it,
asking a server to watch the bag "while he went to
the restroom."
Then the following day the child took the train to the
airport, cleared security and nearly made it to Las
Vegas without detection.
Police believe the boy is a runaway, and he was
returned to his parents
